We have arrived in Milford Sound for New Years Eve celebrations!
This trip has been amazing. Around every bend is another piece of scenery to take your breath away. Lake Takepo and the drive to the Milford Sounds are the highlights so far.
Have a great New Year! Tomorrow we are going on a scenic cruise followed by a 4 hour kayak around the sounds. Let’s hope the sand flies piss off before then, but I doubt it.

Happy New Year Peeps!
Thanks for the Christmas card. Can’t beleive you’ve been gone nearly a year now! We missed you up in the Peak District. A great time was had by all, we even managed to bring T-Bone and Chocs along. Some say it was the best trip yet! The only down side was we had to leave a day early in fear of being snowed in (seriously!) We had to push Delbert’s car up a big hill to escape….the four bald tyres didn’t really help – oops!
Oh well, another year done, back to work and the same old sh*? – make the most of this year!
